Cottonwood Contractors provides comprehensive construction solutions for residential and commercial projects across the Salt Lake Valley. We specialise in renovations, new builds and repairs, with an emphasis on high-quality craftsmanship and finishing on schedule.
We work across the Salt Lake Valley on residential and commercial projects — kitchens and bathrooms, basements, additions, whole-house renovations and commercial build-outs. Some are a single room. Some are a house taken back to the studs.
What does not change is how they are run. The scope is written down before work starts, the trades are sequenced so nobody is waiting, and there is one person accountable for the whole thing from demolition through the final walkthrough.

A date given to win a job and missed by six weeks is worse than an honest one. We would rather tell you a longer timeline up front and hit it.
Straight answers early
If a wall is load-bearing, if a budget will not stretch to the scope, if an idea is not worth the money — you hear it at the start, not once the demolition is done.
The parts nobody sees
Waterproofing behind tile, ducting a hood to the exterior, insulation that dries properly. These do not photograph, and they are what decides whether work lasts.

- Bathroom Remodeling — Primary suites, guest baths and powder rooms — with the waterproofing behind the tile done to last.
- Basement Finishing — Turn unfinished square footage into living space — permitted, insulated, and warm enough to actually use.
- Home Additions — More space without moving — bump-outs, second storeys, garage conversions and primary suites.
- Whole-Home Renovation — Taking a whole house forward at once — usually faster and cheaper than the same work done room by room.
